Ummm, you could have asked for more...not sure if it would have gotten you anywhere though. image

Haven't sold anything to EagleEye yet, but I've bought a few from him and they were a few of the smoothest transactions I've had in my collecting. image

Thanks Lakes. I'll make you V.P. of marketing, which doesn't pay anything, but you do get a dealer badge at the ANA show!

Rick Snow is a shark and a shifty individual. He cannot be trusted, he is an expert in deceit. He will lead with a hook and counter with a jab, before you know it, you are on your azz wondering what happened. I am always on high alert when dealing with the likes of Rick Snow. He bluffs, fakes, and preys on your weaknesses. Mess with Rick Snow, and your wallet will be lighter.

    Thats enough about poker.

During a coin transaction, he is the one man I want in my corner. And I want Mark Feld and Charmy Harker as Ricks assistants :-)

Actually, I would prefer to have Mark and Rick as MY assistants! image

And you, Jack my friend, I want in the kitchen (especially with one of those lil' cute aprons on)...... making more and more of your wonderful tastey hot sauce!

    LMAO
Charmy, you are no better. You are also a shifty type and and one to be watched. At the poker table that is.

I remember dropping off about 200-300 Lincoln slabs at your table.....make me an offer.....
At the poker table I watch you like a hawk.....
At a coin show, I would trust you with my life.......

  • Word has it that Rick just cornered the market on the elusive 1897 1 in neck variety. I just saw some of them on his web site. WOW!!! image

Yep, there are some really good people in this business - Rick is certainly one of the best! I also heard that lil' rumor about the 1 in the neck...... hmmmm...... can't wait to see some of them surface!

And Jack (whom I too would certainly trust with my life and my coins), you need to get your lil' apron-clad belly to a coin show soon just so we can hit some more poker tables together after the show and gang up on Slick Rick!

The story goes: Yes, the guy said "Do you want 97 1-in-the necks" I said sure, thinking he had one or two 1897 "1 in the necks" then he pulled out 97 of them!

Actually 81, to be exact. Most are G-VG.

He started buying every one he saw soon after my book came out in 1992.

Charmy, I dont even get the CDN anymore, damn huh?
    Whens the next big show?
I am in LA often but I " think" my schedule conflicts with both Tucson and Long Beach.....clue me in here. Tucson would be easy and Long Beach a breeze...I am there half the time anyways

I got to meet Rick at the Fun show a year and a half back.
He was on his feet talking and teaching.
It was easy to tell the guy really has fun and enjoys what he does.
Seeing that made an impression on me.
Thanks for all you do Rick.

Sorry it took me this long to respond.

Did he know your bottom line?
Yes he did, and he offered me more.

First time in my life that has ever happened and I've been collecting and selling since 1961( in the second grade.) My first COIN WORLD ad was in 1962.

    thanks RS
    Have a nice day
