I sold my SLV earlier today when silver was stalled $18.80 an ounce. Now it is $19.04. Fortunately I pocketed a profit - just not as large as it would have been if I was a mite bit more patient.

It was mostly odd ball stuff such as generic rounds and art bars. It was not all my silver but a sizable about. I missed the last peak when it hit $19.

It would be my local "Cash for Silver" don't need no stinkin' shipping boxes or post office time, favorite B&M shop when the mood strikes.

How much are you guys selling to complain about 20 cents? $20 per 100oz isn't anything to worry about unless your talking a 500-1000oz min....?

I sell my bulk stuff to local guys that are very fair. There are quite a few of them near me.

I normally dont complain about a 25-50 cents here but it was the timing of it. It spiked right after I sold. It would of made about a $150 difference had I went out for breakfast first

Ah I see, a McMuffin was in order. So you sold a brick worth of those generics, but what was your cost average on all that? If you were in for an average of say $12/oz then no biggie.

Sorry about your timing tydye, that's usually my story.

But... this past week I added about 60oz's at $18 per.

60oz at 18 is pretty good. I usually end up paying a hefty premium for my 1oz bars. I try and by the brand name however. There are always deals to be had inthe odd ball non branded stuff.
