American Revolution Bicentennial Coins

Hello all,
I am trying to find out a little more about these coins/medallions as I have not been able to find out much on the net. I know these were produced in various formats and such but was trying to find out if these are truelly silver or not. The one on the bottom right is labled sterling and these are clearly not the bronze variety. I've seen these listed and sold as silver elsewhere but....

    Yes, they are silver. Mintages are pretty high and the market is weak.

    They were made by the US government.

    They are sterling.
    We usually melt them, or sell them to jewelers who need sterling for castings.
