Most collectors have some sort of coin they carry with them
I carry a large cent for luck keep it in my watch pocket.
But a lot of guys have rings and money clips, cuff links, belt buckles

  • Teva asked what we were packing, i.e. a pocket piece & gun? Just a coin, just a gun or nothing ... as these are the only possible correct answers.....

Coins and guns mix, like bread & butter, peas & carrots.
  • I carry an Ike and a type 2 '81-S Kennedy which is my birth year, and of course my glock 30.

I pack 3 items in my wallet

1.) 1851 LC that got the P*ss kicked out of it. No matter how bad my day goes and shapes up to be I can be reassured this coin looks worse.

2.) a gold angel medallion I found one night. No not real gold but you never know when angel power might aid in something.

3.) $1 1957 missing corner. Dont want to cash it , yet too ugly for my collection So it found its way into the wallet for good luck.

A generic Peace dollar, or as I call it, my digital decision maker.

I'll carry it for some indeterminate period of time. At some point I'll be talking with someone about coins, history, whatever, and give him/her the coin. Then I'll get another AU generic Peace dollar out of a grouping I've got of them, put that coin in my pocket, and away we go again...

A George Washington and Jefferson dollar they both went into my pockey the first day of release when I picked up rolls of them from the bank that used to be down the street from where I was living then.
Do not carry a concealed weapon but if needed they are available.

ThePennyLady, You should send your J frame which weighs less then a pound of butter fully loaded to www.magnaport.com and get the barrel ported, as if you feel there's kick in a coinjacking situation if there's no muzzle lift you'd be able to double tap with ease. I bought my Mother and Sister stainless steel J frame 5 shot .357's and had them magna ported and it made a huge difference shooting hot magnum loads in a 24 ounce pocket rocket.

Thanks Broadstruck, that's good to know. I've also been meaning to get the grip customized because when it kicks, the corner of the grip that isn't rubber just slams up against my hand and tears up the skin between my thumb and finger. I'll check out the website and see if they can do the grip too.

    Your welcome image

S&W does far better factory issue grips on their larger framed revolvers, as on the J frames they are a hard plastic that's terribly contoured.
I'd look into www.pachmayr.com or Houge rubber grips at www.getgrip.com and swapping grips is easier then cracking a slab.
