Very cool ... I have never seen proof strikes in the Regency holders either. Looks like PCGS certified at least 59.

Just like they overshot the numbering on the MS versions, would love to own #60/59.

On ebay this AM - likely not new to census but serial numbers now available. $4000 each.....

Thanks! The holders were on the registry, but without serial numbers. That's now fixed!

No, it was a different coin (s/n 4272458; #283), out of the UK. It sold for $468.

nice i was just watching some stuff on pyramids/sphinxes in the sahara and that coin and slab i think may have come from a section that was uncovered near the base or perhaps one similar!

a study of the erosion type on the structure shows the sphinx may be considerably older than previously thought since the surrounding structures were subjected to wind erosion mostly while the sphinx appeared to be water-worn!

RIP
Over 2 years since last post on the census.

I picked up this pair.
Not many proofs accounted for.

There has been a few Regencies coming to market in the last couple years that aren't on the census.

So post 'em if you got 'em or saw 'em!

I am still looking for a walking liberty in one. (Help rewarded)
