Please post a nicely toned Washington from the 1930's - '40's.

I find myself starting to be attracted to this series (up to 1964) as the coin is a decent size, can have quite nice luster and in MS65-6 can be had for not too much money. Most of the really cool toners I've seen are from the 1950's mint sets, but clearly there are some really sweet ones from the '30's and '40's. I did not go to the ANA, and I suspect like a lot of people on the boards I felt "compelled" to purchase something in it's stead. In my case I got an old green line fatty NGC holder MS66 1940-S Washington with a hint of peripheral toning from a local B&M. No pix yet. So, if you've got a toner Washington from the 1930's or 1940's please post it. Thank you!

I've got this one in the collection.

MS 67 and I paid a little bit of a premium for this Washie. image

Finding attractively toned examples from the '30s is very tough, and the early '40s too.

This one is one of my favorites and acquired it's skin from long term storage in a wayte raymond album.

The non-US Mint Set years (1932-1946 and 1950) can be mighty tough, but they are out there. Here is a 1939 for DF-

I know this one isn't from the '30s-'40s, but as Tom B mentioned it was a non-double mint set year.
