Collector's Club (Platinum) questions

I very rarely send coins into any service for grades, but I've done it for a few different services. Of course, with PCGS with my one or two coins at a time, I've had to go through a dealer. Now, I'm considering the Platinum Club for 8 free submissions.

I understand that everything has to be in one voucher. I assume this means that I can send all raw coins OR all coins for crossover in other holders OR all coins in PCGS holders for upgrade. Is this correct, or are there other conditions for the same voucher (like valuation limitations)? I didn't notice anything on their site that immediately answered the voucher questions.

Also, I'm curious to find out, from those that have used the 8/voucher submission, did you feel that you were "luckier" going through the Collector's Club than going through a dealer? I know that seems silly and the likely answer is "No", but I've heard from others that they felt that they got a fairer shake at a split grade or getting-it-in-a-holder decision when going through the Club versus submitting through a dealer.

What's the average turn around for a typically 8-coin submission like this?

Best and surest answer will be 1-800-447-8848.

Now as for my answer no they do not have to be all one type of submission you can have them on different forms just that all eight coins be submitted at the same time.

I have never submitted threw a dealer so I can not answer your second question. But I understand that the graders do not know who submitted the coins they are looking at.

For the club they're emphatic about it being under the same voucher, which I thought meant that the type of submission has the be the same for all coins.

Really? Wow. I thought that they had to be all the same type of submission. I knew they had to all be submitted at once but did think they had to all be the same type.

    This is good to know.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
