<< <i>Rocker's a jerk, but if that's the quote that's being used to hang him, I've heard worse form nicer guys. >>

    Nicer doesn't really mean much.

New York is a great place because of what he found annoying...it's different people.
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

Ok, his other quotes are not defensible.

As for the one in the caption, it's the weak half of the full quote. The whole thing needs to be used to make it have weight. Otherwise, it's not that potent.

Anybody mention McGwire's testimony at the Senate hearings?

No crying in baseball, even if you're retired.
  • There's a ton of typo's on the Matt Bush card before you go to print. Cool idea for a set and very original.
  • Thanks. I will review the Matt Bush.

    The newest edition.

<< <i>This one is from itzagoner's suggestion. You could punch out the bottom left and insert the water bottle.

This one comes in two different variations. The normal one with the scene from the water bottle toss and a variant picture from an earlier incident with Milton Bradley logo as well as an Abe Lincoln variation back.

On the back of the Milton Bradley card, it should say "throws: both", since he's throwing the chair with both hands. image
  • Send a copy of this to Bobby Cox and he will have Odum in the starting line-up with Kawakami.

Glad you liked the Bradley variation.

  • As a cubs fan, I've got to go with Bartman. This incident kept the Cubs out of the 03 World Series.

You could select the Cubs 1999 #1 draft pick Ben Christensen-P Wichita State. He beaned Anthony Molina of Evansville in the eye while he was in the on-deck circle.
Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all "right-thinking" people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

This is known as “bad luck.”

Being a Phillies fan I can't really speak out against letting yourself get hit by a pitch or pretending to get hit by a pitch with Utley and previously Dave Hollins.
