Kudos to Provident Metals!

I placed an order from them last week, 5 2010 silver maples and a 1/10oz gold maple. Three of the silver ones were all fingerprinted up, and the tenth oz looked like it spent a few days on the sidewalk.

I emailed them, and they said to send them back and they would replace them. They said they would refund my shipping and also give me free shipping on my next order as a goodwill gesture.

I know that they will be getting all of my PM business in the future! image

That's where I buy most of my PM.

No, it is likely that they were taken out of the original mint rolls and put into flips a little too carelessly. The gold was from 1985, so who knows what might have happened to it in 25 years.

I do wish that they would have been a little more careful, but I am not out anything but a few days. Not really a problem from where I sit, as it is only bullion going into my stack.

They probably bought the gold in its current condition.

My last few purchases have been from Provident and I must say that they are an excellent company with perhaps the best prices out there on bullion. I did have a problem with receiving the wrong items once but they more than made up for their mistake. Ive been a repeat customer since
