Anyone ever bust any 80 topps FB boxes?

I was just curious if anyone had ever busted any 80 topps FB boxes? If so approx how many psa 10 quality cards did you get in a box? I am wanting to bust some wax and for some reason these caught my attention as a fun rip. I have also been looking at 80 topps BB vending if anyone has busted any of then and has any info. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I busted a 1980 Baseball Vending box from BBCE a few months ago... overall I was pretty happy with it. It obviously came with a handful of messed up cards close to the ends, but there were plenty of potential 10s in there. I just can't talk myself into subbing the commons yet. I received 8s on my Henderson and Ryan, but that was more due to centering. No clue about the football vending.

I busted an '80 Topps FB Cello box from BBCE around a year ago and got 6-7 PSA 10's out of it and a handful of 9's. You may have better luck with the wax box than I did with cello.

I have done both the Football is probably better centered than the baseball overall.I sent to Henderson RCs in that were perfectly centred and only recieved 8s on both of them.80 Baseball suffers from OC.

I busted 2 wax boxes of '80s FB last year at the National in Cleveland. No 10s from the lot I submitted, mostly 9s and a few lower on a couple of the stars. But then again, I've yet to get a 10 on anything I've submitted, so don't let that deter you! :-)

It made for a very nice start to a high end raw set for me. Probably got %90 there from those two boxes.

I've busted a couple of Boxes and at least 5-8 more boxes worth of packs. 1980 Football has a strong tendecy towards OC. I really remember the one box I got, there wasn't a card in the entire box worth a 10, I think I got like 4-5 9's. The other box was a little better I sub'd about 30-40 got 4 tens, just sold the last one this morning out of my store!! Not worth it! And the worst are whatever there called Wax Pack Trays of three Wax packs. Bought a box earlier this year, almost 100% of the cards were OC.

I agree with Neil. Those thin borders are tough, and you get a ton of OC cards. I usually got 2-3 centered cards per pack, and the rest were way off. Sharp corners usually, at least!
