Crazy last couple of weeks. I get the feeling we're in for a substantial correction. Neither good nor bad, just what my gut tells me.

So I've backed off on my purchases image

I like that the box serial # matches the bar #. How long ago did they do this?

    Nice mini-Krug.

It's my understanding that JM hasn't put out this type of bar in many years. I'm guessing 15-20?

I've got another in the box like this, but that box shows its age. This one was cared for (or locked in a vault and forgotten--same thing).

Love how it's got a lucky "777" serial number image

I think we see 1500 before we see 1050. We may go down to 1120 here, but up is the trend for now.

I had not seen one of these before so I scooped it up.
Anyone elsehave one? Do you think they made this in 1/2 oz? 1 oz? Oval?

Bell Kilo. I can only find a Silver Bell copper mine that this may have come from. If anyone has any
other info I'd sure like to know.

I am converting my 1oz rounds and bars into 5oz bars (and some small gold). Sooner or later I will be able to build a pyramid like Gecko! image
With this week's additions (thank coinnerd!), I now have 2 nice families (the 10g Argor SA is on its way)!

Does anyone know if JM has a 3oz bar?

    Ciccio...Love those bars!

I have never heard/seen a JM 3 oz. (as stated below..I would be referring to a pressed bar)

gsa1fan, did you pick up those slabbed 1/4 oz AGEs at a premium? And, if you don't mind saying, what did you pay for that 2008-W? Curious minds want to know!image

Picked up a Monarch Precious Metals 50oz poured bar this week. $19/oz delivered - $950.

This brings my silver:gold ratio to 25:1. 325ozs Ag:13ozs Au. image

zrlevin---Neat piece of gold. Has more charm and personality than an AGE or similar modern bullion coin that can be quite sterile. Is that tiny rooster a mintmark?

The large A is actually the mint mark, indicating that the coin was minted in Paris. I can only assume that the small rooster is an homage to the Gallic Rooster, the national animal of France.

The 2 - 5 oz are consecutively numbered. The one oz in plastic are close in number but not consecutive as I would of thought. It is a ribbon 10 long. EPM is an older local refiner as I find quite a few of them around here. I have one, tens and now 3 25s. The jade bar is my second - found my first a few weeks ago - just shy of 10 oz at 9.96
