New pocket piece

I quit smoking last Thursday. I figure that I save $5 a day and 5 days later I had saved $25. Today, Wednesday, I bought a $5 Canadian Maple Leaf with the saved cash, my new pocket piece. A liitle less than 2 ounces of silver a week if I stop smoking.
I stopped smoking.
I stopped smoking.

Keep it going Jim!

I did the same many months ago. Actually wifey gave me some 6 month presents last night.
I do have a cigar with my coctails/beers, but 2+ packs a day (3+ on a good weekend day/night) are gone. I've been buying the bullion too, although entirely too many fixits to the truck have hampered my weekly plans for a good bit, but that's ok.
congrats, keep it up, you won't regret it one second. Being in the medical field, I see first hand the suffering horrors of long-term (and some short-term) smokers.

Your health benefits will far out weigh your silver stash!
Many members on this forum that now it cannot fit in my signature. Please ask for entire list.
Thanks for all of the support, it really helps.
I will post some pics of my next purchase, saved $30 and a Maple so far.
In the last year, I've watched my mother in law and father in law die at 58 and 64 of smoking-caused ailments.
If there is one thing I encourage young people to do, it's to never smoke.
My hat is off to you.
Maybe I will give it away if I can remain smoke free for 1 year.
4 ounces so far.
New York just raised taxes so that a pack costs nearly $10. Best tax ever!!
Keep stacking that silver!!
