Thanks for posting and I look forward to hearing from you............NiceDocter@aol.com (Rocky) PS thsi is my first post on this forum so Im not sure if this is the way to do a deal.......if you e mail me I can give you my phone number if youd like...........RR

I have a question. Why was my bid cancelled? The auction does not give an axplanation other than you cancelled all bids and ended the auction early.
    Thanks,

I'm going to have to say that if the price doesn't go high enough that in all probability your bid will get canceled again.

  • It is going to go for the full 5 days. I'm going to let the bidders decide what they are worth.

    Good Luck

  • No I did not sell one pass. The original auction had 5 passes. When I canceled the bids the high bidder entered in a big $16.

I have about 4 or 5 more New York and Washington press passes but I do not think they are baseball related so that is why they are not in the auction.

I'd cancel and sell to whoever left this in the Q&A on the auction.

These press passes are an incredible find. What you have here is the holy grail of Yankee Press Passes. I would guess that your 5 press passes are worth $1,000 to $1,500. I have been buying early Yankees items for many years and have not run across any press passes like these in the last 10 years. That's quite a find. Good luck with your auction.
  • Maybe two people think they are worth that much? Bidding War?

  • You have a couple of hundred dollars worth of passes. The much earlier passes 1909 era are much more in value. Last week they had the same passes on PAWN STARS and Rick didnt buy them for $300.
I've seen the same Yankee passes sell for $20 to $30 each.
  • I think $20 - $30 sounds realistic. Everyone puts a different value on certain items. Maybe that person got ripped off many years ago and they think the passes are worth that much? Who knows.

Actually if it was the same show it was 1000.00 that he didn't buy them for as the woman had 40

which appeared to be mint examples, she wanted 2k.
