I had my proof rattler franklin set sent into CAC recently to see if they would all sticker.
The set is -I believe- a one of a kind set.
If you have proof franklin rattlers that could upgrade this set I would be very interested and might be able to offer some generous money
The set consists of a
1950 pr65 cac
1951 pr65 cac
1952 pr66 cac
1953 pr66 cac
1954 pr67 cac
1955 pr67 cac
1956 pr67 cac
1957 pr67 cac
1958 pr67 cac
1959 pr67 cac
1960 pr66 CAC GOLD
1961 pr67 cac
1962 pr67 cac GOLD
1963 pr67 cac gold
1884-s $1 pcgs xf45 cac (John had said this coin he thought was an xf48...)
1914-s 50c ngc MS66 CAC!!!
The three coins that didnt sticker were not so much a surprise.
2 I didnt really think had a chance but I figured why not and the third was a very old cleaning but had some very attractive new toning (and is in an old ngc holder)

I'm eight years late to the party, and haven't sent them for beans, but I just got my '53 today. Can I join?

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
WallyMart has stickers for a lot less....
Wow, congratulations !!!
I'm not surprised, 'cause I've seen your work, but I am thrilled. Great concept!
Nice!
Great results due to a great eye. Congrats!
8 year old thread alert!!!!
Now do some gold.
or EARLY stuff.
Those are outsized results, you must be exacting in your purchases. Try getting the same results on real money grades, gold stickers especially with gold coins, much harder.
Sorry, still kinda newish here. Is this a frowned upon practice? I am still learning, and going through the older posts is a delightful way to absorb the cumulative knowledge compiled here. Joebb21's set of rattler proof Franklins inspired me to attempt this set. I didn't think that my completion of it was worth a stand-alone post, so I piggybacked on his thread. My set is not close to equaling his, but I felt a sense of pride that I could still put it together.
Your set is very nice and it’s perfectly fine to start your own thread! You can always mention that this thread inspired you and provide a link. The issue with bringing back an old thread is that many don’t see that it’s old and mainly notice the original post (in the process missing out on your cool set).
Glad you brought this to my attention.
Both of your sets are super cool.
I love those old Rattlers and Joey's CAC success rate was HUGE!

Nothing wrong with commenting on old threads. What happens is everyone starts commenting on the first post, which 8 years later may be irrelevant. (Not that this one is) So I sometimes put in the thread alert after I find myself in the situation I just mentioned.
Good luck with your set... let us know the results if/when you send it in... Cheers, RickO
