PCGS AG-3 1916 SLQ on Heritage. Very Questionable.

    Mark Van Winkle and Lee Abramson have seen the coin, and both concur that it's no good. (I've seen it as well and agree with them, but they don't pay me to authenticate image). The coin has been removed from the auction, and we are working with the consignor and PCGS directly.

    By all means, please contact us if there are any issues with coins in our auctions. Thanks to everyone who posted in this thread!

    You can tell right away that this coin is a 1917 as there is not a break in the beeds above ms. liberty's head. a no question 1917 and I am surprised that pcgs did not get this one right. buffnixx

    Don't ICG slabs usually have a number and barcode? Fake slab maybe?
