A lot less then PCGS or even NGC graded...suggest you look for completed PR69 PCGS auctions, that should give you some idea what an ANACS 70 may fetch set of 69 PCGS BIN

NGC sets have been decreasing the past few days but still average in the $120's. I would not give more than $70/75 for it at this point. There have not been many PCGS sets sold to tell at this point.

Does "First day of issue" & "First Strike" mean the same thing. Is it just the way each grading co. wants to say it or does it mean 2 different things? Thanks again

The First Day of Issue label is exclusive to ANACS and sold through HSN (Home Shopping Network) and is currently being offered at $199.99.
First Strike(s) is offered by PCGS & NGC, to qualify must be received by the grading service within the first 30 days of issue.

Not so....only PCGS continues to us: First Strike....NGC discontinued that label several years ago ( law suit settlement ) and now uses: "First Day of Issue"

You are right, however, NGC now uses "Early Releases" for it's first 30 day receipt deal.

I ask that you please forgive my ignorance on this, but I have another question. I've been out of the modern coin market for quite awhile.
I'm seeing S mint Clad & Silver coins on these Quarter sets in question. I always thought modern S minted coins were 90% Silver. Now I'm seeing Clad S mint Proof coins as well as Silver S mint Proof coins. How can I tell the difference when it doesnt note it on the holder?

In the Mint pacaging, The Red pack Proof are Silver. The Blue pack Proofs are Clad.
Also, in hand the clad will show the copper center on the rim of the coin and silver are solid silver on the rim.(90%)

So it's the Govt. Packaging if buying raw. How about when it's in a PCGS or NGC holder? On each respective holder it just says 2010 S, and then the grade. It doesnt say Clad or Silver in PCGS or NGC holders.

It's subtle, but the silver are a tad bit brighter.

Agreed on that. Well I took the plunge back into moderns. Just bought the 5 coin set in NGC Silver & PCGS First Strike Clad. Both sets PF70 UC & DC respectively. I think these will do better down the line than the State Quarters. They're making significantly less in comparison from what i've read.
