May 31, 2010: Silver Ring and 1906 IHC

Tried some water detecting today.

Spot one yielded a Sterling "M" initial Avon ring
Spot two gave up a 1906 IHC. This was only about a half inch deep as I think there was clay keeping it up.

The water was freezing at place #2 and the wind didn't help!

Cold water and wind? That would have kept me on the beach. That IHC has been there for a while... Cheers, RickO
