I Always thought this Coin was a Yawner......BUT Thanks to LORDMARCOVAN

I know its not the top of anything grade wise and its a raw 1876 CC ...Did not even know why i bought it in the first place as i told the seller before he shipped it to me but i am really glad that i did. The reason being that it changed my perspective about this series and i really love it. I like the feel, look, smell and sense of holding history in your hands kind of feeling. Thanks LordMarcovan!

Ask a person when they heard the Towers came down. Ask then what they were doing. Explain the idea of how the brain imprints important events. Give them a worn out cent from 1860 and talk a bit about who might have had the coin and the events of those five years. More than one collector got off to a start this way.
Here is a fairly new purchase, never shown before. I could not resist 1857 at $18.
I know it's not the greatest of images, but for scans they aren't bad.
Edit to add: A seater quarter is high on my wanted list. My oldest quarter is 1897 whereas dimes I go back to 1835, cents to 1852, and five cent pieces to 1832. My oldest half dollar is also an 1876CC, given to me by a very generous member of this very board! I currently have three seated dimes, 1 seated half dime, and one seated half dollar.
