Received in change - 2010 Shield Cents!

Since I always check my change (like a good collector should do!), I checked the change I got at the Food Lion tonight. I was shocked to see two 2010 shield cents! If I was smart, I would have asked for more. But most of you know me and know that sometimes I'm not that smart. At least I have two 2010 Sheild Cents!!!

What area are you in? I'm in the Chicagoland area and about two days ago picked up a bank box to do some searching. Found about 4 Shield Cents searching through the rolls. Then I went back today and got another box. I was walking to the car and looked at the box and saw they were all shiny. I thought, "great some 2008 cents"....upon a closer look it was a box of Shield Cents.

I live in southern Maryland.. about an hour and a half drive from DC. The store closed at 10. and I'm leaving to first thing in the morning to go home to Va Beach.

I'm really looking forward to getting some of these. I really like the design. I have been getting three to 4 2009s in the rolls lately but not a single 2010 yet. Did get a 2010 dime, though.

i went to the bank yesterday and got a 25.00 box of 2010-P cents.
i am in Northeast PA.
I opened a couple of rolls and found large die cracks on Lincolns jacket,on many of the coins.

yet, if they were old cheap silver crap with die cracks all over it, it'd spawn the concept of VAMs and premiums per issue.

I am glad they finally fixed Lincoln after all those years with his ruined portrait. The reverse does not thrill me though. Kind of looks "tokenish" to me.
