Am I missing something here?

Is it two silly bidders, or is there something rare about these that I'm not catching?

2 - 1 gram Engelhard gold bars

Thanks for any information provided!

It's like the Wonder Twins. Separated they are but two hunks of metal. Together they make a pricey team. LOL

Someone is going to be surprised when they receive the bars...You'll need a magnifying glass in order just to look at the bars.

Both bidders seem legit and experienced.

These bars usually go for 50 bucks or so...the top bidder paid 3X that for the consecutive numbers.

seems kinda high to me, but engelhard gold its pretty popular on ebay.

I have seen 1/10 oz with their assay card go for 300 bucks when gold was about $900.

Find an Engelahard 2.5 grams with its assay card and it will possibly end higher than this auction.

Only $400??? Too low for that particular Coca-Cola silver art bar but there is plenty of time left in this auction. Another person here mentioned that he sold a Mt-Hood art bar for $700 on ebay. That Mt-Hood Coke bar is a very hard-to-find Coca-Cola silver art bar. I have that ebay auction on my watch list because I am very curious on what the final winning bid will be. Most of the Coca-Cola silver art bars that I have seen have winning bids of between $35 and $100 on ebay. There are several, such as the Mt-Hood one, that will sell for $100's of dollars on ebay.
