Has that envelope toned look but the only thing that makes me a bit iffy on it is the colors displayed. Id send it in worse case you lose your grading fees.

I'm not sure if it is at or not.The hit on the shoulder may keep it out of 65.

80-20 it is real; however, NOT real attractive. Don't slab it.

The colors are questionable for this particular date. On a '56-'58, it may have passed. PCGS or NGC are unlikely to grade this coin.

    Yup!
  • I don't like it as NT...those colors can be easily duplicated with little more than a book of matches and a heat lamp....I have a proof frankie with the same colors that were left in a box with matches..... image

As for the grade the coin is easily a 65 even with that hit.....might not go 66 becuase of it but anyone who doesn't think a coin with that hit can get in a 65 holder needs to go to heritage auction archives and revew some high res images of MS65 frankie...the reverse of that coin looks like a lock 66

Dip it... you can always restore that color (real easy) or make it even better (just as easy). It will look better blast white and likely grade 65/66. Cheers, RickO

If it came from a US mint double mint set year, it might (last year for those was 1958)
that baby blue color is hard to see naturally without a few other colors which are not seen on this coin

your 65+ assessment may be high , unless the luster and eye appeal just blow you away - which I can not tell from this pic

the reverse has a couple dark spots and the lower bell is scruffy

NT all the way, I had a similar coin (1961) that was blue toned just like this one.
    Many happy BST transactions
  • Usually purple is a red flag. But that one looks ok to me, at least in that particular pic.
