New record sales for gold eagles?

CaptHenwayCaptHenway Posts: 33,009 ✭✭✭✭✭
Somebody sent me an email claiming that the Mint has sold 142,500 gold eagles already this month, with nine days yet to go.

I wonder if this figure represents ounces sold, including the fractionals, which went on sale a week or so ago. That would certainly push up the total ounces sold.

Does anybody know where to get the current figures?

    US Mint bullion production figures

It's below the Plat. figures... BTW did not include the fractionals...

Thank you both. I wonder why the fractionals aren't up yet? We have ordered them from our official distributor.
