I have been collecting for 35 years and now prefer raw coins. Mint state certified coins are not enjoyable to me anymore...I was never real good with fractions.
Don't know if it "concerns" me... it's actually a relief to hear such talk...

Re: Slabbed coins - There are some coins that LIVE within clear plastic and wear their labels with pride... while there are others that HIDE behind scratched plastic and are simply dragged along by a label. Then there are those coins that simply hang out, naked and free
I didn't own a slabbed coin until 2006. A grading service has it's value, but I agree that holding a raw coin in your hand is the best way to appreciate it.

Reverse of an '95-D dime I asked the Forum if they thought might get an FB if submitted. Currently there are 2 in 65, 2 in 66, and 2 in 67.
