    This is as chatty as I get. Plus I really never paid any attention to the chat option.

    There have been ebbs and flows of people going on there and trying it out. It's always been herky-jerky and hard to use in the past, so people inevitably have found it unpleasant, and have quickly dropped off. I don't know if PCGS has done anything to improve it since I haven't looked at it in years, but I don't know what incentive they'd have. No demand equals no incentive equals low demand...

    Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...

    It's like a bar when 300 people all walk in and see no one there then leave and the next day they all say NO ONE WAS THERE. If they'd stick around it'd be a packed bar.

    Nobody uses Chat sonce the chatting occurs either via the message boards of vis PM.

    There really is no need for chat.
    I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    Because it becomes almost immediately apparent how stupid I am
    when I can't cut and paste and edit my posts beforehand. If that
    weren't bad enough there's the fact that people ask personal ques-
    tions which I prefer to avoid for security reasons.

    I was always under the impression that you'd need to invite or be invited to chat. Since neither has ever happened in my 8 years here, why go there? Is there something you want to discuss with someone? By all means, send them an invitation..........through the PM? image I really don't get it!
