I assume any expensive key date coin that's being sold raw on eBay is either fake or has problems until proven otherwise.

Definitely fake... one day, they'll get the mint mark right, and that will be scary...

The raised lumps in front of Ms. Liberty's lips are something I would not like to see on my 1889-CC dollar.

Fake. The date is off as well as the mint mark CC curves. If you check the reverse and see how it's uber raised then that should be a dead give away, also the rim is slightly larger than the norm. I would love to buy it for $5.00 to see what it looks like in hand, but the seller needs to pay the shipping cost....
