Cheap buyers!

Not really, but I see the way people like to paint the broad brush:
Cheap ebay buyers!
Cheap Teletrade buyers!
etc etc etc
It's not necessarily that anyone is cheap....it's just having the right item when 2, or more, interested parties want it.
With ebay, or teletrade, or any of them, unless it is "the hot item of the day", it's always hit or miss.
Example, for me recently, would be some PCGS MS68 toned SAEs. Put 4 on TT for their March promotion. Got them assigned to a SUCKY auction (too many lakeside, a Monday auction (then Weds, then back to Mon)), imho.
Put on some reserves, at which price, I would gladly keep if they didn't sell ($95, so they would have to hit $100+ to sell).
Sold 2 initially. 2nd 2 went up for auction again a week+ later. Sold 1. Last one was going up Monday night and either selling, or coming home. Funny thing was, I didn't lower the reserves. Each time, they went for more than the reserve (well, 3 out of 4 went for over $100).
So, I could have complained about cheap buyers, or the economy, or the government, etc....but, I truly believe that, if you aren't asking stupid prices then it is all about who sees it and when.
It's all good

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

sold 1 bid over reserve (so I guess your 2 bidder anology is correct pn the seller wants it at X price)

What is? Selling for more than the reserve and realizing it just takes time, at times, and having the right item when the right buyers come around? Or b**ching about cheap ebayers/teletraders?

heh....that's one way of looking at it, but don't forget the value of the plastic included with each

I like frying ticks with a 10x glass; get lots of practice as a surveyor. I can pop them like pop corn
