Does it bother you when you post a photo of a coin and you recieve PM's asking to buy it?

Personally it doesn't bother me at all, to the contrary, at least I know that I own a coin that other people would like to own.
Need a Barber Half with ANACS photo certificate. If you have one for sale please PM me. Current Ebay auctions

But, I do remember thinking about some of the picture posted coins..
"Man o' Man, I sure would like to own that puppy"
This is a green light to me to PM for coins I like...

I take it as a nice compliment and I appreciate the gesture.
<< <i>I sold a few coins that way. I always say everything is forsale for the right price
I always suspected that more that a few forum members show off coins with the hope that an attractive offer comes along.

someone you PM'd might just mean they have not checked in a while. With some of the
"personalities" on the boards, if you offended someone, you would hear about it. Quickly.

Bill, it's because we would jam your inbox instantly if we thought we had a chance at prying a coin from you... I have yet to see a coin that you have posted that I wouldn't be honored to own!
For example, this one will not be for sale in a long long time as I just can't find one this attractive:
<< <i>It has happened to me twice and I was certainly not offended. One for a heavily toned MS 65 Barber quarter and the other for a VF25 R-5 Fugio, both in PCGS plastic. >>
Add the "wildman" to the list. I'm about to pm you about it

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

I agree with you, and I take it as a compliment.
You would sell it for the right amount. Doesn't everyone have a price tag?
Seriously, I think it's quite a compliment when someone expresses interest in a coin that you're personally proud enough to exhibit for all to see.
<< <i>I get PMs asking me not to post my photos because of the coins.
Take this coin for instance. This was purchased from Blinded by Ego in a bag of coins, sight unseen.
The rest of them went into a jar I filled with vegetable oil.
Some day I may even find the time to cherry pick 'em.

PM sent TwoSides2aCoin on that cent as I'd like first shot at refusal if your ever care to part with it
I love the Chernobyl Nuclear patina on that Lincoln!
