Mid-80-s Mexican Onzas

I just found these at my shop on Saturday and had to have a few.
I haven't seen them before and thought they looked pretty nice. After some ebay
searching, I could only find one other example. I don't know if they are rare or not, has anyone seen these before?

    I'm no expert, but they don't look like official issues to me.

    They are not Onzas. They are just rounds. Most likely minted in the USA as well.
    I've seen them before.
    The most money I made are on coins I haven't sold.

    Nice looking silver rounds; enjoy them and know you can get plenty of Libertads with a bit more of a premium!

    They are private rounds. The Mexican mint issues are exceptionally attractive, in my opinion.

    1 ounce US produced silver rounds...not rare & not in great demand. Hope you didn't pay to much over melt.

    APMEX has Onzas (Mexican Mint) from the 80's.

    Interesting looking rounds.
    I always liked the cap and rays design concept.
