    2 rolls of 50 circulation strike pennies sell for more than 100 times face value because of the wrapper.

    a one point difference in modern graded coins, ie... 69 to 70, can command such premiums as they do!

    I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    When I figured out the US mint can't make a 2009 cent without spots but the Euro coins all look proof like.

    When you submit one of the best coins you have ever seen and it comes back a MS63???

    And they bought that roll;
    A. to be the first to have them certified in hopes of profiting
    B. to be the first to post a picture here (sorry if I just rained on somebodies parade)

    One roll sold for $137.50

    And I'm amazed how 11 rolls (since I last counted) made their way from Denver to the east coast 2000 miles before surfacing.

    And we all know what a counting roll machine can do to coins but watch how many get certified MS65.

    Oops, sorry........you can all go back to the OP's question. image

    Uncirculated coins slabbed with hairlines, and VG coins bagged as "cleaned"

    ....when grade and profit are the primary consideration of so-called collectors. Cheers, RickO
