    It's a log book relating to the boxing and storage of "uncurrent dollars" from October 1898. Damp conditions, rotting canvas, rusty iron --- might produce all sorts of rainbow colors on silver. The book is about 30 pages long; most of it covers coins in bags.

    The dollars were boxed in 1898, not necessarily dated 1898. "Uncurrent" normally meant "not of the current year" in this context.
