Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

Well to balance things out I hate tab toning. The ugly mustard tone
just ruins the commem for me. It may be a symbol of originality, but
I truly hate it when I see it.image

I like tab toning ... it''s just neat that a coin sat undisturbed in a Dennison mailer for many years to acquire its color.

Great examples folks! This Oregon (which I have probably overposted) is a tab toned coin. You can only see the bullseye when tilted at a 45 degree angle. These orginal cardboard holders could create magic. MJ

That Oregon rocks MJ, it's bad it's bad you know it ah-ugh image

I have a Washington quarter with that same peach/purple toning on the obverse/reverse, and it's one of my favorite washingtons with intense luster that makes the toning dance in direct light. I'm sure yours is very similar with blazing luster and the same toning patterns. I believe that Oregon you posted is one of my favorite comm. designs and personally the best toning I have seen on one IMO. image
