A gold coin .9167 fine that weighs 15.98 grams is available for $400. Is that not well under spot??

    With the volatility in PM prices these days, what you've described happens quite often.

    I picked up 9 ozs of silver (generic bars/rounds) for $174 delivered last Thursday when spot was $19.50. The seller had not updated the prices on his website in a couple weeks.

    If he had cancelled the deal I would have understood, but I got a shipment notification yesterday.

    I realize this is not as dramatic as your example but the analogy is there......

    I got the ordering limit which was 10 coins. Exactly as described, gorgeous proofs made by the British Royal Mint, each contains .47 oz gold. COOL RUNNINGS!
