Post a pic of your pet and I'll send one .9999 silver maple leaf to the winner of the "cutest contest."
Or, I'll give the winner a choice of items to choose from (via PM) if the bullion doesn't appeal to you.
If you don't know how to post a picture, just post anyway for the runner-up prize.
1,000 posts giveaway open until May 5th.
This was a bad idea because it was too hard to judge. But here goes...
1st prize goes to Ponderit
2nd prize to Batman
Runner up prizes to Mikeyg and BillyKingsley
Consolation prize of a BU '55 D Roosie to anyone in the thread that wants one.

I no longer have Barrydanes All Eyes on Me (Thug) because he bit a kid who was playing in his food bowl. Used to play 2pac when he was being shown. 185 lbs and taller than me when standing on his hind legs. This is a pic of a pic (no scanner) of Thug with his handler accepting an award. He won his first award at 11 months old.

Wheezy, and Maggie relaxing. Thanks for the chance.
This is Smokey....My next door neighbor....He comes running when I open the front door and just hangs out with me in the yard...same as his mother did many for years .
This picture was taken one day when I wanted to mow the lawn and Smokey wanted to just lay in the shade...So I grabbed my camera, laid down in the cool grass with him and turned it into a photo shoot.
Chuckles (the tiger) passed away this February. He started out as a dumpster kitten at about
6-weeks old. The vet didn't give him much hope. But I asked for all the medication he could use
and he led a happy life for seventeen years.
Snickers is a whopping 23 pound now.

Loves here Poppa!
This is Grumpy. Lost to Lymphosarcoma at only 7 years old.
She was before Shadow's time. Didn't have time to edit out my ebay seller name so pardon me.
Here's a pic of our bestest boy, Duke.....he was taken away from us at only 3 yrs, 4 months...renal failure caused by a vet that over-vaccinated him...boy, did he like to fetch...thats him just waiting patiently for the ball to get tossed again
We all get very attached to our pets.
They're always happy to see us ( the owners)
so loyal and never seem to have a bad day -
even if they actually are having one.
Anyone that has ever truly bonded with their pet
knows the Pain of having to let them go when it's time.
On a lighter note - they're all so cute, especially when so young.
I had a Blue Dobie much like yours, blueifalcon.
She came down with some weird neurological disorder suddenly
and went from super athletic to not being able to stand or walk.
When she could walk, when the disorder first began, she'd drag her
front paws and it looked like she was drunk or something. Very weird!
Too many pets, especially dogs, dying of cancer etc confuses me!
All they do is drink water and eat Brand name (Pedigree) dog food.
Very strange indeed.
This was my first Pit - a VERY SPECIAL friend, Custer.
Lost him to Cancer too - endochrine system too.
Losing him .... I'll NEVER forget him - ever!
Here's Grumpy before she got sick!
I SWEAR this was Custer reincarnated as a female!
They were VERY MUCH alike, in many ways - so much so that it was downright eerie.

Collect raw morgans, walkers, mercs, SLQ, barber q. Looking at getting into earlier date coins pre 1900s.
Here are some fuzzier and cuter pets
Thanks for the chance!
I have not had a pet in years and years. 1990s.
Here is a photo of my dad on the left, me on the right, and my dog Zippy in the middle from 1987. This is one of my all time favorite photos
Zippy left us in 1991 and my dad left us in 2002
Here is a much better picture of her from the early 1980s...I have it labeled as 81 but that was before I was born so I don't know! The cat's name is Shadow, she was gone before I was born...ran away
We don't have any puppy pictures of Zippy, by time she came to us in the 1970s she was almost full grown, she had been abandoned and my family rescued her!
What I didn't say (because I had not yet thought of it) is that in appreciation for your great giveaway I'm going to write a check to our local shelter for $100. I hope others might follow my lead in one way or another. The shelters around the country are doing great work and for the most part they are severely under-funded.
Don't forget the orphaned pets out there!
Thanks again, Bill
I thoroughly enjoyed seeing other collectors' pets.
There are NO LOSERS here.
Thanks for your generosity too pakasmom.
Got my runner up prize today.Extremely generous of you. Thanks for the giveaway. Will now try to learn how to post a picture.
