Not really a tear, no paper loss, but the edge has been frayed and has a crease that radiates from it.

I think it's worth a shot. Definitely in the holder though. NM is the most over-used, pigeonhole grade PSA has. PSA 7 slabs always seem to be a bargain or a burn...just depends on the card. Doesn't seem rare to see ex-mt and nm-mt cards in NM slabs.

I like the SGC 7...not quite so sure it will cross in the holder though....PSA seems to not like SGC cards.....

I'm sick with jealousy of all of you.

I tend to prefer photo-based cards but still...there is a real grandeur to rookie (and 2nd-3rd) cards from the '54-'56 sets. Aaron, Banks, Kaline, Killebrew, Koufax, Roberto...they're all really memorable.

Still have the 6. I am going to re-sub it at some point but just have not gotten around to it. I have always wanted a 7 for my 55 set and when I saw this one with the centering I couldn't resist. Was able to use Bing and Big Crumbs to get 10% off the selling price. Ended up paying $2200 after discounts which seemed very fair for a card of this quality and centering.

Great cards!! There are 114 Clemente basic sets on the Set Registry! I glanced thru the registered player sets and didn't see that many sets for any other player...not even Aaron or the Mick!

Handyman's 84 is the sweetest 7 on the planet. Bobby said something that is very weird ; but very true. PSA does not like to cross over high dollar SGC cards even if they easily make the grade.
