Do you have a collection in your stash that would be on the top of your list as 'last to go' or 'will never go at all'?

For me they are these 17 coins/medals of 1 troy ounce each of gold/platinum:

Year >Description >Composition >Denomination >Weight >Fineness >Type >Mintage

That is way up among my top list, too. Got put down a peg because it is NOT 1 troz in size/weight. image

Hey Trozau....Although the stated mintage on the 1990 plat 1oz is 1300, the actual mintage is believed to be somewhere around 780 pieces. To the best of my knowlege, a cert higher than that number has yet to be confirmed. Very similar to the 1995 gold proof. Stated mintage was something like 1500, but actual (which was released by China in a revised list) is just 555.

    Hi,

I actually started the 1 troy ounce gold and platinum coin show pandas back in 1991. I got them from different sources starting with Panda America, coin shows, eBay and some known panda dealers (Mish International and another that escapes my memory). The last one 1 got to complete the series was the Munich commem in 2000 via eBay. The Basel Pt error and normal Au, I got from eBay and a coin show, respectively. Most of them I pursued in 1999. The best prices I got them for were in coin shows where they were selling for just a little premium over spot. The lowest I paid was $286 and the most was $500. image
