This "smells"...he had 3 sets that he sold for that price. BTW, seller has another set with a BIN of $7,999 Possible account takeover? As the saying goes: if it's to good to be true...etc ( have my doubts that the buyers will ever see these sets.)

Would have been worth a drive for me. Murrieta is just 30 miles north of me on I-15. I would have made the drive to pick up in person, or at least offered to do so. If he refused local pick-up, that rat we're smelling would be confirmed...

Looks like the seller split a Buffalo set into thirds so a buyer could maximize bing (or other cashback/rebates)-instead of the $200 cap on a $8000 set the buyer would get $600 back buying it in thirds-if Bing figures it out the buyer will likely lose the rebate.

Lets see, 1/3 of the set... The set has a box, a COA, and the coins. I bet the 1/3 he is selling is the box.

You guys didn't figure this out. The same buyer bought all 3 thirds allowing them to use 3 bing cashbacks. --Jerry

Jerry and fish are correct. Seller worked with buyer on the set to help buyer maximize bing cashback. Kudos to the seller for looking after his customer. I have purchased from Bob before, he is a standup guy and I believe a member of the forum. Good job Bob.
