Pinpointer

What's a good pinpointer on the market for the money? I dig mainly coins and am just looking for a good quality pinpointer for not a whole lot of $$$.
Thanks

I have a Pistol Probe made by DetectorPRO. It's a higher cost, but from what I've seen and experienced (check out some youtube videos), it's a great pinpointer.

I agree with pcgs69. The Pistol Probe is great. You can buy a cheap pinpointer but you will pay in the end. They do not last long and most must be 'right on top' of the coin to sense it. I have the DX-1, machine mounted (and powered) also - depends on what I am doing as to which one I will use. I have always believed in buying quality - pay once, get the best, avoid frustration and further cost. Cheers, RickO

Good video (major hole he dug) and shows the capability of the Pistol Probe. Most people do not realize the PP is a pulse induction unit and that gives it the edge on depth over all other probes. Cheers, RickO
