Anyone else bidding in Dan Sedwick's Treasure Auction #7?
Besides me? I have my eye on one lot only. So far, no bidders! Oops, my BIG mouth!
Lurker since '02. Got the seven year itch!

Maybe not. I plan on bidding on all the coins you're bidding on.

<< <i>No Roman, the 1774's are from a hoard that was first brought to light by my friend, Louis Hudson, in 1974. At that time, roughly 200 of the 225 or so pieces were dispersed. These would be the remaining 25 pieces (although, I've heard that some of the pieces from the first group are also coming to light. The Heritage 2004 FUN (ex. Morris Geiger) piece was part of that group. I was, unfortunately, underbidder on that one. >>
Thank you, Gary.

Thanks as well, Gary. Interesting info about the hoard. I have never heard the "story."
Do you happen to know where these came from?
I liked the story (true or not) about the 1770 Charles III Colombian Pillar. If true, at least we now know where those came from after 239 years.
How did you fare in the Sedwick auction? Still another day to go....
Gary
Too many auctions in April (and September)!
