F15+, close to VF20 on the first one, and VF25-30 on the second. Having just studied certified versions this past weekend from ANACS, PCGS, and NGC, I was surprised at the amount of wear present on VF graded coins.
Thanks. I'm pretty sure the '24 is problem free, most likely the porosity is due to my terrible pictures. Also, maybe I'm being to liberal with my grading, since I gave the 18-S a F-15, and the 1924 an EF-40.

The 1918-s is a very tough call but I think F15 is probably the best estimate based on the image

I would grade the 18-S as a F-12 (some claims to 15)
The 24 looks nice, but the fileds look a little porous from the picture ... probably in the VF30 to VF35 range.
