Crap! I befriended a dealer that I normally cherrypick.

And felt obligated to tell him that his $20 priced item was worth $500 or more. Thanks Mom

I wonder how much the guy had paid for the coin if he was willing to sell it for $20?

My local guy- I tell him that I am cherry picking him... My guy has a set profit margin and that is what he operates under- If the coin is worth more I tell him or if it is a variety I tell him... He always laughs when I tell him that it is a variety or something... He then says "What does that mean? More money for me?" He is a good guy!

It is a one ounce silver art bar. He pays 50 cents back of spot. It also came in a rather large lot.

I think it's good to help a dealer out with a nice variety find every once in a while... do that a few times, and you'd be surprised at what they let you look at, and how little they care about most of the varieties you find, no matter how valuable.
