    I wonder if he would consider advancing me the coin with the understanding that I will pay him the asking price out of all the luck that will be coming my way. Actually if life were a movie I'd buy it.

    My guess it was the seller who bid on his own auction. If it was a bidder with more history I'd think otherwise.
