Interesting coin. I have, on several occasions, heard people inquire about Hawaiian coins at coin shows and antique shows (usually coins at antique shows too). There seems to be a distinct collector base for these coins. Cheers, RickO

edited to add... considering my thread today, perhaps there is still hope for me I do need to step back from all the plastic... back in the 60's we referred to anything that was "square" as "plastic"... meaning not for real... pretend... or only "in it for the money"...
Re: Slabbed coins - There are some coins that LIVE within clear plastic and wear their labels with pride... while there are others that HIDE behind scratched plastic and are simply dragged along by a label. Then there are those coins that simply hang out, naked and free
