I still pulled the trigger, anyway. 
Grade is in any event mostly irrelevant to me on a love token. This was a date I needed for my set, and it's a pictorial that was not too hideously priced, so ... I bought it.

So maybe he just grades like a very slightly intoxicated monkey with a slight case of glaucoma.
(I didn't look at any of his other auctions, except for a token I bid on, and that was all lettering and practically impossible to grade.)
