OK, I was wrong and I'm willing to admit it. How about you??

After finally being able to watch the video and get things "From the Horse's mouth" as it were, I will step up and say that I was wrong about the whole Big Announcement. I think it is big, I think it will greatly affect me and I think it will in time affect the entire Hobby.

With that said, I'd like to apologize for any sarcasm I may have directed at the whole thing and PCGS as it's unfolded.

You were waaaay off base, Keets. A little more self-flagellation (or flatulation, if you prefer) is required before any apology will be accepted. image

I thought that I was wrong once, but I was mistaken.

I'm on the positive bandwagon on the "Big One" also. I think they answered many requests (and problems) brought forward in this forum. There have been many threads about counterfeit slabs here which I think they answered. CAC has filled many pages here and + has challanged this, although it will take a year or two before they make it cheap enough for us to afford. And I forgot what the third announcement was all about.

It is a positive move and I think it will have an impact. And, it is the final step towards computerized grading. It will happen. Cheers, RickO

i agree, Ricko. it will never be something like setting a coin down, letting a computer grade it and send it back. there will always be human involvement. with this innovation PCGS seems to be striving to remove some of the inconsistentcy we all love so much!!image
