The Mint website is jammed. Won't even load...
I used to be somebody, now I'm just a coin collector.
Recipient of the coveted "You Suck" award, April 2009 for cherrypicking a 1833 CBHD LM-5, and April 2022 for a 1835 LM-12, and again in Aug 2012 for picking off a 1952 FS-902.

    I don;t think so.
    I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    I'm just happy they don't have captcha. I spent waaaayyy too much time entering phrases when trying to purchase 2010 BCS National Championship tickets... Never got through.

    The first four show the big picture of how many orders have been placed. In the past (although I think it is more difficult now) anyone who knew your order number and last name could go to the mint's website and track your order or cancel it. That's why.

    Got tiried of the sluggish website. I called the mint and placed my order. Got though the second time!!! Order # 3409####

    The US Mint Website continues to be slow for popular items.

    I entered my first order for one proof coin at 12:09pm with order #34091xxx and was finally able to order one uncirculated coin at 12:43pm with order #34096xxx.
    That means that 4,500 orders were accepted between my two orders.

    I was just ordering them for my nephew who just made eagle scout!
