Have you ever just bought a coin, for the sake of buying a coin? I havn't been able to add a new coin to the collection for quite some time because nothing has been available, so I just decided to buy this to satisfy that itch of a new purchase.
Care to offer a grade and thoughts on the piece?

<< <i>64fb -- they are really tough on the early dates in this series for some reason. >>
In your opinion, what would hold the coin back from higher than 64?

That's a beauty relics!
<< <i>Is it an ANACS photo cert?

Not sure what it graded then, but that appears to be a 66FB or better coin based on the picture
Nice pickup

The same reason this one is a 64FB.

My guess is between 65 and 67 and the bands are really full!!
<< <i>I would have to see the coin in hand to grade. Those pics are too big and show every little perfection.

Jon, I would agree with the 65 (maybe 66) if it was after 1936.

<< <i>Take a look at any mercury dime registry set with images. You will see why I say they are tougher. >>
Nice Dimes.........Would you send this 17 in just in case?

If it were mine I would probably have it graded, and based on the image I would make a note on "my" copy of the paperwork 64fb, so I know what I expected.
I think it is a nice coin.

How the heck did I miss that one....

<< <i>Old ANACS cert. I would send the dime to PCGS in a second or atleast make a note that the coin needs to be sent in before it is sold. For the price you got it for I cannot see how you could go wrong.

I need to re-up, so I'll use it as one of my freebees.
