Post a colorful 1946 coin in honor of...
64 years ago today, my folks were married. Dad survived being shot down and sunk in the same day, and eight major campaigns in the Pacific theater in WWII. Dad said it was far easier to be in combat than deal with a teenage son and daughter. Mom and dad are both doing very well living by themselves at 84 & 91.
So, what ya got from 1946?

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

Try telling that to our troops in Afghanistan and Iraq, or to the relatives of the 55,000 people who lost their lives in Vietnam.
Happy 54th anniversary to your folks, UtahCoin. You're dad sounds like an awesome guy.
