i love how lots of people think that some explosion created everything.....really? steady searching for answers yet overlooking or denying the truth.

Well, elements heavier than iron cannot be made by a regular star. All elements heavier than iron require a supernova explosion (this can be PROVEN)! Since there are elements heavier than iron on the Earth, scientists conclude that our sun was not the first star in this neighborhood. A prior generation star went supernova....it is the only way to explain gold. Look up nucleosynthesis and learn.

I THOUGHT of posting something like this as I LOVE anything to do with space but I was thinking that they might be going the religious angle and I didn't want to touch that.

Yes, I agree. In this country I am just the infidel. But I can PROVE I am the infidel! I made my choice of science over religion when I reached the age of reason (VII).

religion- a man-made way of getting to or trying to please the Creator. It's what's killing the world......

I have no qualms of things happening in the natural world to change things into other things (i.e. earthquakes, volcanos, etc), just the denile of a creator is obsurd.

Just watched this and here's my thoughts. Giant explosions CAN create gold. Inside the sun, it's so hot and dense, it forces hydrogen together to form helium. Once it runs out of hydrogen, it will convert the helium into oxygen and carbon. It's not massive enough to go beyond that and can't go supernova. However, there are stars MANY times the mass of our sun and can convert oxygen and carbon into heavier elements like iron, gold, and even uranium depending how big they are. These stars go BOOOOOMM and seed the universe with all these elements.
As far an denile of a creator, it's just your beliefs. A religious person will believe that a god created everything, while a scientist will go with the big-bang. I personally like M-theory and that's my belief.
