    Your link is bad:

    Zero Hedge

However, note that at least some of the transcription running over the footage has been added and is misleading. Also when you visit the website of the news organization quoted in this link, there is no corresponding story about this supposed tungsten bar.

Further, note that the bank is "unnamed", and even the link to Heraeus is actually to a third party.

I don't doubt there was a tungsten bar they discovered at that refinery. But that wasn't central bank gold; it looked more like a 10 oz. or Kilo bar.

My German isn't good enough for a really accurate translation, but I don't think he says they discovered tungsten.

Does this look like a bar that is tungsten-filled, or does it look like a bar that has been drilled out?

I don't know the German word for tungsten. Could be chocolate in there. image

Well then I stand corrected--he does say that. But it still doesn't look like it's filled with anything. And it's definitely not a London Good Delivery bar.

I think there are a lot more fake bars out there than realized, I would not trust bars.

The bar was filled with something or it would not have made weight. Tungsten has the same weight as gold.

I wouldn't trust the LBMA either:

The picture appears to show semi-circular, over-lapping cuttings, which would suggest that the bar was drilled repeatedly from one end.

Maybe they are tungsten rods (looks like it to me) and they could have been inserted into a drilled bar or put inside a poured gold bar during production.

At the end of the video, the man says, "all that glitters isn't gold."
