If LT retires today, first ballot hof??Any Ballot??

goraidersgoraiders Posts: 2,158 ✭✭✭

I have watched him at least twice a year p[laying against the Raiders
so I know what his 'A' game was, after 9 seasons I believe he's ahead of some great backs
production wise, does he make it if he retires now? What about if he goes elsewhere and does the
Edge James move, will that only hurt his chances?

I would say he is definitely in as of today regardless of if whether he tries to hang on to get a ring somewhere.

I say his pitiful big game performance keeps him out the first try. ( Or it should )

Who is the best running back not in the Hall-of-Fame? Roger Craig? Tomlinson is clearly above that standard. Easily the best running back from the past 10 years

I'd say he is in first ballot, though like Perk said, his MIA act during playoff games and his perceived selfishness will hurt his legacy to some extent..

To me, LT is the running back version of Cris Carter....AMAZING stats, but he and his teams never did much in the post-season...Carter is still waiting to get into the HOF after a few tries.

agree with most of the others, he is in, but should not be first ballot. Can anyone name a huge game he had in a meaningful situation?

I mean dude played like 8 playoff games his entire career... probably an anomaly that he didn't perform as well as the regular season. Pretty small sample size.
